What’s the purpose?
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
Who can join DECA?
Any GCHS student that has Mrs. Kinsey or Mrs. Johnson for a Marketing class can join DECA.
We had a great year!
Highlights from the 2022-23 previous school year:
- Toured Jacksonville State University and Auburn University
- Attended The Gadsden Business Expo at 210 at the Tracks
- Attended The Pop-Up Entrepreneur Workshop hosted by Auburn University at The Venue
- Attended the Joint Leadership Development Conference at the Von-Braun Center in Huntsville.
- Participating in the State DECA Conference and Competition in Birmingham, AL
- GCHS’s DECA club also raised money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association
