Based on the advice of the Gadsden-Etowah County EMA, all Gadsden City Schools will be closed on Friday, Jan. 10, due to expected hazardous driving conditions caused by snow and ice. We are making this call early to allow meals to be prepared and sent home with students on Thursday for Friday (Breakfast & Lunch).

On November 19, representatives from Gadsden State Community College (GSCC) will meet with Seniors during 1st Block and Juniors during 2nd Block. Students will learn more about Dual Enrollment courses offered at GSCC.

Students will receive progress reports for the second nine-week grading period.

ALABAMA STUDENTS CAN APPLY TO COLLEGE WITH NO FEES!  This special statewide College Application Event is being held October 7-11, 2024.  Several colleges have waived application fees for this year’s event.  DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY AND TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF IT.  You can apply to as many schools as you would like during this time.

All Gadsden City Schools will have an E-Learning Day on Friday, January 12 due to the threat of inclement weather. Students should check Google Classroom for assignments and communicate with instructors throughout the day if they need assistance.

Students will receive report cards with grades for the first semester (Fall Term).

Wear your “Crazy Socks” to support the National Technical Honor Society’s Kickoff for the homeless. They will provide socks for the homeless in our area in January.

Michael Connally won 2nd Place at the 2023 Alabama State Scholastic Chess High School Championship. The tournament is rated by the United States Chess Federation. The tournament was held March 11-12, with five games. Some games lasted more than three and a half hours. The Titan Family is very proud of you, Michael!
